I'll submit a review next month. These last three months have exhausted me with other stuff. Something as simple as playing a game for a review has somehow become an impossible task lately.
I've had a rough go of things, too. Mainly, my work-life balance has been trash, and I've been sleeping a lot. I haven't finished a hood game in months.
Two days ago a a pipe broke outside my house and leaked water inside, soaking at least half of two rooms. And now I have to be temporarily away my home from a bit because of possibly asbestos.
It's almost like the universe is trying very, very hard to stop me from submitting a review.
I totally resonate with your feelings of exhaustion! Gaming can be such a double-edged sword—on one hand, it's an escape, but on the other, it can drain our energy more than we realize. I recently got into Snow Rider and found myself utterly captivated yet somehow drained after playing for hours. It’s like you’re riding that rush of adrenaline but then crash hard when you step away. It really makes you reflect on how we balance our passions and self-care! Have you thought about taking breaks or switching up your games every now and then? Sometimes a little distance can reignite our enthusiasm!
