Last week, we reported Ninja Gaiden 3 would hit shelves in March 2012, according to Team Ninja's head honcho Yosuke Hayashi. Thanks to a news release from Tecmo today, we have something a bit more exact.

The game will launch on March 20, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Those who pre-order the game from GameStop or Amazon will gain themselves the privilege to a digital, two-fighter demo stage of Dead or Alive 5, which will also release some time next year. If that demo isn't satisfying enough to encourage you to pre-order, then you might consider pre-ordering Ninja Gaiden 3's collector's edition, which will ship not only with a soundtrack, art book and figurine, but with a four-fighter demo stage of DOA 5.

Here's where the decision-making gets a bit trickier: GameStop pre-orderers' two DOA 5 characters will be Ryu himself and the femme fatale Hitomi. Pre-ordering from Amazon? You'll get Ayane and Hayate. (Does anyone else feel like these pre-order incentives should be more about, y'know, Ninja Gaiden 3 and not DOA 5?)

In any case: decisions, decisions!
