Rage demo now on Xbox Live, enrages PSN Dec. 6
I'd completely understand if you've been hesitant to take the bite on id Software's Rage. Critical reception was lukewarm, with some critics loving the game's beautiful visuals and gunplay, while disliking the narrative and many of its design decisions. Maybe a playable demo of the title can help you decide if the house that made Doom still has its touch.

You can download the demo now on the Xbox Live Marketplace; PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait until Dec. 6 for a PlayStation Network version of the demo.
Who knows? Maybe you'll love it and take advantage of a Black Friday deal this week. (I'm pretty sure I've seen the game being advertised at $30 at some retailers this Friday.) Then again, you might hate it, and in that case, well, you can always download Doom 3's source code and show those id Software folks how it should be done yourself.
