The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos, a 2020 RPG from Artefacts Studio and Dear Villagers, is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game's publisher announced today in a press release. On the new platforms, it has been released as a "Chicken Edition" that includes the Ruins of Limis DLC that released for PC this May.

The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos tells a story within the fantasy universe created by French author John Lang, who produced an audio commentary series to parody role-playing, tabletop games and heroic fantasy tropes. Basically, the idea is to find the silly side of everything Tolkien did that so many writers have enjoyed copying over the years.

Here at HonestGamers, EmP's overall view of The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk on PC was that players should "do it for the experience," and he wrote in a mostly positive review that despite the game's satirical approach, "its combat is no joke." He had other nice things to say, as well, so check out that review if you want to know more.

"We had high hopes for Naheulbeuk, but the fan response surpassed our expectations," notes a presumably pleased Guillaume Jamet, Head of Publishing at Dear Villagers. "We've got two more DLC packs in teh works, so keep your eyes peeled!"

Keeping your eyes peeled will likely serve the dual purpose of letting you know if any marauding orcs happen to be in the area.

Game features include seven classic RPG characters you know and love--the Ranger, the Elf, the Dwarf, the Barbarian, the Magician, the Ogre and the Thief--as well as turn-based battles with a bestiary of more than 100 monsters. There's an adaptive difficulty system so you can play for the story or to test yourself, defending on your preference, and plenty to do and see as you make your way through a dangerous world ruled by the evil lord Zangdar.

On consoles, The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos - Chicken Edition retails for $44.99 USD, and there's apparently a limited physical edition available for both PS4 and Switch. Bock, bock, bock!
