You didn't need any Greek god-like powers to know a God of War: Ascension collector's edition would make its way down from Olympus. Amazon outed the contents of the special edition box set, and it's packed with some pretty cool stuff.
Aside from coming packaged in a steelbook case, the collector's edition will sport an 8" Kratos statue, a digital soundtrack, a dynamic PS3 theme, a PSN avatar pack, an unlock for double XP in the game's multiplayer component and a pass for future downloadable content. Amazon's reporting a $79.99 price for the set.
God of War: Ascension hits shelves March 12, 2013.
