The recent review on KOF XI that was submitted here was really poor, in my opinion.

I know that reviewing games is a vast and broad 'field,' but if you review a game and completely neglect the history of that game, its 'peers' in the genre, and don't understand the fundamentals of a game of its type, it's hard to take the review seriously unless you're a like-minded individual.

I definitely appreciate the comments you guys gave for my personal game sprites, so here are some I've been working on for a fighting game project I'm a part of:


So far, I know that I need to fix the legs on the walking animation (hard to differentiate the two, as someone told me) and I might need to add some subtle motion to the lower body on the animation of her breathing. Your thoughts?

The sound got messed up so some of the parts with awkward silence are due to that.
