I definitely appreciate the comments you guys gave for my personal game sprites, so here are some I've been working on for a fighting game project I'm a part of:

So far, I know that I need to fix the legs on the walking animation (hard to differentiate the two, as someone told me) and I might need to add some subtle motion to the lower body on the animation of her breathing. Your thoughts?

EDIT: Just for fun, here's a very WIP animation of my bomb bunny enemy for my personal game project:

I think a bigger problem with the walking animation is that she's speedwalking like a mofo. She needs to slow down before someone gets hurt. If the legs were moving more like a person would typically walk, I think that would make differentiating them easier.

On the breathing image, you're right. She looks like everything from the waist down is disconnected and she's peering out from behind it or something. Usually, someone would shift slightly in a standing pose or there would perhaps be hip or leg movement. You're way better at this than I would ever be, by the way. I'm just being extremely critical the way I would if I were playing a game and this were the final product.

I basically agree with Venter, something I never thought I'd hear myself saying. also, one of the frames for the breathing one has a pair of orange pixels pop up near her right foot.

Hm, yeah. You pretty much reinforced the thoughts/worries I had myself. I'm going to try adding some more frames to the walking animation, and probably completely redo the legs (thankfully, they're the simplest part of the animation).

Now that I look at, I'm finally admitting to myself that it looks a bit too rigid. I can, for once, put the blame mostly on someone else, however, since I mostly just did the tween frames and the colors.

All crits, harsh/extreme/whatever or not are appreciated in this case, thanks!

Also, lol @ the stray pixel. I saw it earlier, but didn't bother doing anything about it.

So, I did a quick re-examination of the animation, pinpointed where I needed more frames and ended up with this:

Is that speed a bit more acceptable? I thought so. (yes, it's supposed to blink. those are blank frames)

I'd say it's a lot closer, at least. Good job!

I really like the design of that bunny rabbit. Reminds me of the old Sonic games.

That's excellent to hear, I'm definitely using old school Sonic as an inspiration for the project.

It looks like she's borderline skipping along. You might not want to have her legs kick out so far.

Walking animation - Slow her legs down a bit and don't have her kick out so far. She looks more like she's playing soccer (football) than walking.

Standing - A slight up/down bend at the knees would do wonders.
