So, I'm apparently coming down with a cold again. Two nights ago, I felt it starting and I drank a lot of echinacea tea and orange juice. It seemed to fight it off and last night I felt just fine. Today, I felt the cold coming back and I drank some tea and orange juice but to no avail. It managed to get a hold. Tonight at work, I could feel the cold getting worse by the minute and now it's a full-blown cold. I've made myself soup and I'm drinking OJ and tea, but I think for the first time in something like 15 years, I'm destined to have two miserable colds in a single year. Crap...

True - August 24, 2009 (12:01 AM) If you have a King Sooper's, City Market or Kroger's in your area, you should try this stuff C-Boost. It's fucking Magical. |

darketernal - August 24, 2009 (05:12 AM) Due to heavy drinking and thus low immunity I had something of a cold/sore throat this summer. To me the combination of neo-angins and Operil nasal spray worked wonders in the scope of 24 hours that I took of a break from said drinking and going out to night clubs again. Worked wonders, though this is Europe, so I have no idea if they sell those exact things or something that's the same but with a different name on that odd continent over the Atlantic. |

I work for a store that has merged with Krogers, so we carry Kroger products... probably including that. But I'm hardly likely to go shopping for C-Boost if I'm likely to wind up calling in sick that evening. It wouldn't look good. This morning I'm feeling a bit better, but we'll see how the next few hours go as I guzzle orange juice, tea and chicken soup. |
