I generally try not to encourage such things, but in this case I had to give it a shot. If you visit my blog now, you'll hear a special greeting message. Too cool!

honestgamer - February 09, 2006 (09:35 PM) I was thinking it might be cool to allow users to add a music player to their blogs. It would have to be set so that it only played if a visitor clicked, I think. I probably won't do it, but I'm still considering it. |

honestgamer - February 10, 2006 (06:40 AM) Heh heh. It was some site AT&T Research is doing. You can type what you want the voice to say, then choose from a few available voices, and press a button. Then the voice reads. It actually does pretty good. You type the words in actual English, rather than having to make things up for the words to be pronounced reasonably close to properly. So no, that wasn't my voice. |

lasthero - February 10, 2006 (07:30 AM) Yeah, I know. I found something similar on Hanes.com (yes, the underwear site) a while back. It would do the voice thing, and it would also let you manipulate a picture to make it look like it was talking. Cool stuff. |
