About Me: Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma. |
I decided I was going to give in and but Metroid Prime: Hunters for the DS yesterday. Well, as you probably have guessed, I did. That was some of my Shadow of the Collossus savings, so now it's going to take a little longer to get one of my most anticipated games. I just couldn't help investing in this game though, it was so hyped. Oh yes, first impressions.
Being a Sophmore in Highschool, I really feel that I have a certain responsibility to do my best, and well, be responsible. Most of the time it means giving up whatever time I have (or would've had) for myself to do homework. After a while it just gets old, and I really can't stand all that's expected of me. I don't want to give up, simply because giving up is too easy, and it never makes things easier, less complicated, but not easier.
An epic tale of love, hope, and the liberation of an entire world.
Square-Enix has produced many great Final Fantasy titles over the years. The most notable is Final Fantasy VII, which was the first title Final Fantasy title released on the Playstation. Known as the definitive RPG, it overshadowed most other games released for the Playstation at that time. Final Fantasy X was the first Final Fantasy title released for the Playstation 2 and although it doesn’t steal the show like Final Fantasy VII did, it still stands out as one of the greatest titles ever made. From the heart warming story to the soul melting music, this game will fill you with emotions you’ve never felt before.
Blood and gore don’t make a great action game. A great story and battle system do, and God of War just doesn’t deliver that. God of War is hailed as the definitive action game for the Playstation 2. Although it does offer some great puzzle solving and an interesting story, nothing about it seems too engaging. The battle system is very shallow and most of the time you simply mash the buttons in hopes of creating some kind of combo. The story, although enticing is rather short and leaves the people wanting more. So what is the main attraction of God of War? That would most likely be the merciless demon slaughter found around every corner. While it does deliver the action it promises, it does it in a way that can only be fun for a single play through.
