![]() | for a long term avatar. |
As you may have noticed, I change avatars about seasonally. I've decided to choose one that will last a long time. I recently adopted the Godzilla/Sailor Moon mashup as a placeholder until I settle on a longer lasting image.
After some consideration, it came down to three avatars: Randall Flagg, Mad Hatter, and Firebrand. It was a difficult choice because they're all pretty awesome villains (or antihero, in Firebrand's case). The winner, which I've selected, shall appear shortly after I publish this blog.

overdrive - September 21, 2015 (02:02 PM) It'll be perfect if some random with 1-2 user reviews decides to pull them down because you have an avatar that encourages satanism! I WON'T BE ALONE!!!! (although mine apparently either encourages nazi-ism...or offended someone because it discourages it...one or the other). |

JoeTheDestroyer - September 21, 2015 (09:56 PM) OD: There's also the possibility that it was a graphic image, but as Jason said, the guy also reviewed a rather violent Capcom game, so.... Unfortunately, I don't think I could win with any of the three I've selected. I'd either be condoning non-LaVeyan Satanism, murder, or implied Antichrist references. |

overdrive - September 22, 2015 (12:24 PM) Jerec: FUNFACT -- When I first decided to get an avatar, since they were kind of necessary to look original (I think the olden days were before the default was the cheesy shit snacks), I was going through Jason's big list of them and looking for ones that no one else was using and found this one. Twas like, "WTF?!?!" and saw it was titled something like Exploding Hitler. That rang a bell with me, but to be sure, I wound up replaying Bionic Commando for the first time in a few years to be sure. And then I was happy. Not just an avatar, but a reliving of old glories. Truly a tale of...I dunno, lost my train of thought on that one. Joe: Not just a graphic image, but one from the EIGHT-BIT ERA!!!! The sort of sophistication has to be about as graphic as a scene from a Season 1 South Park episode or so, like the Pinkeye Zombie episode in the first 15 minutes. |
