DreamDeeply: turning movie monsters into canine nightmares
July 27, 2015

I recently discovered DreamDeeply, an online app that allegedly shows the dreams computers have. Obviously, I take such claims with a pinch of salt, but I did find that submitting some pictures to this thing can be quite amusing. A normal picture becomes a mess of dog faces, hidden birds, surreal buildings, eyes, and random human bodies. For instance:

GODZILLA

Or is it "Dogzilla" now?

CANDYMAN

Gotta love the cute, scraggly mutt hiding in his rib cage.

GAMERA

The funny thing is he still wouldn't be out of place in a Gamera movie.

JASON VOORHEES

Is that Morpheus in the background?

PUMPKINHEAD

I actually think I'd be more frightened of this guy coming after me than the original Pumpy.

MONSTER FROM THE HOST (2006)

I have a feeling The Host would be a completely different movie if the antagonist were a big, overly friendly dog.

SHARKTOPUS

Now he's become... Sharktoparrog?

KATAHDIN FROM PROPHECY (1979)

This looks like it should be a boss in a video game.

RAWHEAD REX

What if Rawhead were bitten by a werewolf then absorbed by The Thing?
