I just got hit with a game-breaking glitch that deletes your save file. My completion was something like 46% and I had put about twenty hours into the game. As you can imagine, I've lost any desire to play it. I'm not giving up on it entirely, but I'm not going to start a new file any time soon.

honestgamer - April 02, 2015 (08:21 PM) Ouch. I never heard of that particular glitch. I'm glad it didn't happen to me! |

True - April 02, 2015 (08:29 PM) Glitches, unfortunately, plague most of the AC games. There was a section in Revelations where you could play as Desmond but every time I tried the game would freeze up and eventually my entire system. After about the third time trying I finally gave up, worried I would do permanent damage. I wonder to this day if I missed out on anything crucial by not playing them. |

JoeTheDestroyer - April 02, 2015 (11:55 PM) The hell of it is I don't know what causes this glitch. I guess it's been observed across platforms as well, because people on the Steam forums have complained about the same issue. From what I understand, it may be linked to the autosave feature. Honestly, if I keep bumping into junk like this in subsequent games, I may just give up on the series. |
