| | Here are 42 additional NES games I would like to obtain before I stop collecting stuff for that system. |
I wasn't initially planning to, but today I went ahead and put together a list of the NES games I still want to obtain, to go with my SNES wish list. It is 46 titles long (after occasional edits to remove titles I have purchased since initially making this post), and when combined with the stuff I already have, will take my collection to a total of around 300 titles.
The unfortunate thing about this list is that I've previously owned a number of these games, including some of the very most expensive titles, but I was forced to sell them in order to pay my rent. So buying them again sucks, but I do still want them. I'll just have to put some of the titles that I'm buying for a second time at the back of the queue, so to speak. Here is the most recently updated list:
01) 1942
02) Back to the Future II & III
03) Bad Dudes
04) Bandit Kings of Ancient China
05) Bubble Bobble Part 2
06) Cabal
07) Casino Kid
08) Casino Kid 2
09) Castelian
10) Chubby Cherub
11) Contra
12) Contra Force
13) Cowboy Kid
14) Felix the Cat
15) Fire 'N Ice
16) The Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak!
17) Gilligan's Island
18) Gun.Smoke
19) Hatris
20) The Jetsons: Cogswell's Caper
21) Joshua and the Battle of Jericho
22) The King of Kings: The Early Years
23) King's Quest V
24) L'Empereur
25) The Little Mermaid
26) Little Samson
27) Low G Man
28) Magician
29) Micro Machines
30) Mission: Impossible
31) Nightshade
32) Pac-Mania
33) Panic Restaurant
34) Pirates!
35) Power Blade
36) Power Blade 2
37) Rambo
38) Snow Bros.
39) Star Trek 25th Anniversary
40) Sword Master
41) Toobin'
42) Wacky Races
43) Wheel of Fortune: Family Edition
44) Winter Games
45) Wurm: Journey to the Center of the Earth
46) Zombie Nation
NES game collecting is considerably more expensive than it was when I started, but there's nothing I can do about that except grit my teeth and hope for the best. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a complete collection for this system and the SNES both, but the above games are my priorities. Anything on top of that would be gravy...

| | honestgamer - April 28, 2016 (01:49 PM) I have the digital version of that game, as it was somewhat recently released on Virtual Console. You can check the list of games I own by clicking "Games" near the top of this blog page. You'll have to scroll down a bit to reach the NES, but it's all there! But no, I haven't actually played it, and it goes for enough on eBay that I will probably limit myself to the digital edition forever. |
