My NES Wish List
April 14, 2016

I wasn't initially planning to, but today I went ahead and put together a list of the NES games I still want to obtain, to go with my SNES wish list. It is 86 titles long, and when combined with the stuff I already have, will take my collection to a total of around 300 titles.

The unfortunate thing about this list is that I've previously owned a number of these games (nearly a quarter of them), including some of the very most expensive titles, but I was forced to sell them in order to pay my rent. So buying them again sucks, but I do still want them. I'll just have to put some of the titles that I'm buying for a second time at the back of the queue, so to speak. Here is the list:

NES game collecting is considerably more expensive than it was when I started, but there's nothing I can do about that except grit my teeth and hope for the best. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a complete collection for this system and the SNES both, but the above games are my priorities. Anything on top of that would be gravy...

Not sure if you have it already or if you haven't heard of it, but "Mighty Final Fight" is a pretty good gem that not many people know about.

I have the digital version of that game, as it was somewhat recently released on Virtual Console. You can check the list of games I own by clicking "Games" near the top of this blog page. You'll have to scroll down a bit to reach the NES, but it's all there! But no, I haven't actually played it, and it goes for enough on eBay that I will probably limit myself to the digital edition forever.
