First Grand Theft Auto V game trailer makes its California-styled debut

Today marked the debut of the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, which takes place (as did Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) in Rockstar's fictionalized version of beautiful California. We've embedded the official trailer below for your viewing pleasure.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas remains the most successful title in the franchise, so it's no big surprise that Rockstar would return to the scene of its most lucrative hit. New details are sure to follow in what will almost certainly be a string of exciting trailers. We can't be sure what all to expect from this new game, but there are plenty of hints and there's much cause for rampant speculation. Surely that's what the people at Rockstar want, releasing a trailer like this! Why disappoint them?
