Daedalic Entertainment has finally released Anna's Quest on consoles, following the game's original Steam release way back in 2015. The title is ready to keep you busy adventuring on Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Featuring hand-drawn art with plenty of puzzles, the game takes place in a world inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. Anna, a girl attempting to help her ailing grandfather, instead finds herself captured by an evil witch.

Still anxious to find a cure for her loved one, Anna enlists the aid of various characters familiar to fairy tale fans. She'll attempt to escape her prison and along the way battle witches, trolls, dragons and more, while using a variety of implements and continuing to engage with a colorful cast of characters.

The publisher shared the following main features:

  • Unlimited inventory with special slots for a baby dragon

  • Small-time vandalism

  • Discover a unicorn's inner beauty

  • Black magic and telekinesis - this time, not exclusive to villains!

  • Executions for the whole family!

  • Light-hearted, courageous, bad-ass: Anna

  • Classic point & click controls with hotspot-indicator

  • Awesome ending (really!)
If that sounds like something you might enjoy, look for the game on one of the appropriate storefronts, where you'll find it listed for $19.99 USD or similar. It also is still available on Steam, if you'd rather buy it there.
