PlayStation 5 may be the new kid on the block, but that doesn't mean developers and publishers have forgotten about Sony's older hardware. In fact, Flying Oak Games has announced that ports of ScourgeBringer are on their way to PlayStation 4 and Vita next month.
According to a press release, ScourgeBringer will be published digitally by Dear Villagers. A physical Vita edition is also on its way from eastasiasoft "in the near future," as well as a PlayStation 4 edition that launches alongside its digital brethren. A "stunning" boxed collector's edition will see only 500 copies produced, while standard editions will presumably be available in a larger quantity.
ScourgeBringer, in case you didn't know, launched on Switch, Xbox One and PC last year. It is a 2D platformer game with roguelite elements. Players control a hero named Kyhra, who must clear "an Eldritch monolith which is threatening to destroy her world." You know the problem is very serious indeed when people use the word "Eldritch."
An official list of game features follows:
If all of that sounds like something you might like to play on your PlayStation 4 or Vita, know that the game is available for preorder starting today. Don't miss your chance to show that Eldritch monolith that you're the boss!
