Hunt: Showdown targets Xbox Game Preview availability
Microsoft and Crytek are anxious to see what players bring to the work-in-progress experience.
Crytek today announced it is collaborating with Microsoft to bring Hunt: Showdown to the Xbox One platform, by way of the Xbox Game Preview service. Players can purchase the game before it is complete and provide feedback that affects its evolution toward a finished product.
Hunt: Showdown lets players take part in a bounty hunting process. Matches place ten players (who play alone or can pair up, as they prefer) in an environment and have them take out horrific monsters in Louisiana swamps. When a player takes a bounty, he becomes a target for every other Hunter on the map. Higher risk means bigger rewards, but here's the kicker: death is permanent.
