Halo 3 isn't that fun. Neither was Halo. Last FPS I really got into was Perfect Dark. That was a long time ago, now.

	Halon - January 17, 2008 (08:04 AM) Halo's copy & paste level design and generic weapons were never good. Halo 2's single player is on par or better than Halo 3. I haven't played the third one over Live yet and have no intention to.
	daff - January 17, 2008 (08:10 AM) I'm not the biggest Halo 3 fan either. I didn't like single player very much and nothing pisses me off more than unloading a full clip on someone online only to get punched it the face and dieing.

I'll empty a clip into someone's face or chest--not their arm or leg or something stupid--and then they'll run up to me and punch me to death. That sort of situation accounts for several deaths a round for me. My other typical death is my fault. I'll sneak up on someone and start to unload a clip, then realize I only had 2 or 3 bullets left because I stupidly forgot to reload. But on topic, Halo 3 looks like quite possibly the least exciting FPS title of the last 3 years. I keep wanting to be interested in it and I'm sure online is decent right now by virtue of the people swarming over Live, but the game just looks so... forgettable.

	EmP - January 17, 2008 (02:58 PM) I'll take the middle ground with Halo 2. All I know is that there are several stand out moments I can recall from the first Halo that made me want to play again and again. The night-sniping mission may be the best the series has so far produced. The only stand-out moment in Halo 2 for me was the Scarab leap of faith. Still loved the game.
	Suskie - January 17, 2008 (03:19 PM) Halo - First half is unbelievable, second half kinda sucks. Kind of a classic, but it's not easy to look past its tremendous flaws. Halo 2 - Best of the series by a mile. Halo 3 - Has some great moments, but too short... and shouldn't they have learned to cut back on those fucking Flood bastards by now?
