Capcom pushes Resident Evil 6 up to Oct. 2
The T-Virus arrives a little earlier than expected this year.
Initially scheduled for a Nov. 20 release, Capcom announced yesterday that the console versions of Resident Evil 6 will be pushed up to a Oct. 2, 2012 release. The company made the announcement in the same press release that confirmed its plans for Lost Planet 3 in 2013.
The Windows PC version of the game will "follow" the release of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. And that is totally not vague in the slightest.
As previously reported, RE6 takes place in 2013, in the fictional Chinese town of Lanshiang. Players will assume the role of both Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield and guide them throughout their zombified journey with an "evolved" control scheme that will allow players to "shoot whilst moving."
Less than half a year to go, folks!
