I quit smoking and have made it 13 days without a cigarette. In these two weeks I have become a hermit and have been avoiding things like going to bars and driving as much as possible. I've had a lot of time to play Mario Galaxy though. That is a plus.

You can use this coupon on game systems! Apparently you can get the actual coupon in a pamphlet in the pharmacy if they don't accept a printed out coupon. If you've been waiting to buy a system this would be a good time to get one seeing as how they are almost never discounted. You can get a 40g ps3 for about $320. You'll still be able to get the 5 free blu-rays too.
I've had a 360 and a Wii for a while, but I wish I would have waited a month to buy the PS3.
We are right in the middle of the craziest time of the year for gamers. Between late September and early December I'd say at least 75% of the year's good games, highly anticipated games, and franchise sequels hit the shelves.
I know the logic is that these games will all sell well because of Christmas, but to me many of these games could do better if they were released at a time when there weren't a bunch of other high profile games to compete with.
When I close my eyes to go to sleep I see the screen from Puzzle Quest. This happened to me with puzzle fighter back in high school.
This game winning play is crazy. It's only division 3 college football, but wow.
I just got a 60g PS3 the other day. I was planning on waiting a while, but I wanted the 60g before they were gone. It's also my birthday in a few weeks so I gave myself an early present. I unhooked the PS2 with plans of selling it along with all of its accessories, but than I noticed my guitar hero guitars....
Basically, you can't use the PS2 guitars on the PS3 and the PS3 guitar for GH3 wont work with GH1, ,2, or 80s. WTF!
I'm still gonna sell my PS2, but I don't know what I should do with the GH stuff. I don't see how this is even an issue. I've pretty much maxed out my skill on the old GH games, but it is a fun party game and I'm hoping you'll be able to download them on ps3 or something. Otherwise I'll just get it on 360.
So is anyone going to pull the trigger on the PS3 now that it will be 399? It's missing a few things the more expensive SKUs have, but the only one that matters is backwards compatibility. I was going to wait to buy a PS3 until there were at least a handful of "must have" games out for it, but at the same time I want to be able to play PS2 and the occasional ps1 game. I'm thinking about trying to find a deal on a used or refurbished 60g PS3, but I'm in no hurry.
