Pokemon Go (Android)
Adventure Week recently started. I evolved Porygon into Porygon2 and Slugma into Magcargo. I'm running out of 'Mons to catch. Hopefully I'll snag an Aerodactyl during this event.

Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded (PC)
I completed mission 6. No, there's nothing much more to tell. I suffered my first two deaths.

Arc Rise Fantasia (Wii)
I burned the midnight oil for weeks so I could finish this game, a couple of hours at a time. The result: success. I have a rough draft for a review written up, too.

Crypt of the Necrodancer (PC)
I started this. I unlocked a few of the shopkeepers and purchased two hearts. Through sheer will and determination, I managed to complete Zone 1 with both the protagonist and Bard. As for my attempt at Zone 2, I keep getting my ass handed to me. We'll see how far I get.

Mass Effect (360)
Restarted. I recruited Wrex and Garrus, then entered Fist's club. I was reckless and ended up using most of my healing items before taking out Fist's defense turrets, thus ending the battle. I also took the time to clear up a bunch of side quests before becoming a Spectre and officially receiving the mission to do away with Saran.

Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome (PS2)
I also started this. Just completed episode 1. This game kind of feels like a dumbed down Phantom Brave (not in a bad way, though).

Recent viewings:

Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)- A young man who survived a horrific incident involving a criminal dressed as Santa goes on a killing spree (also while dressed as Ol' Saint Nick). This is really not a great piece of film, but it's cheesy enough to be lovable. There really isn't much tension, either. The first half of the movie is necessary setup, and the rest is a string of silly death scenes, with the antagonist occasionally yelling NAUGHTYYYYY! Plus it has Linnea Quigley, so what's not to love?

The Witch (2016)- 17th century settlers in New England are exiled to the woods, where a sinister old hag puts their faith to the test. Also, there's a black billy goat that's metal AF. Seriously, this movie is downbeat to the nth degree. It's very well acted and features terrific sets and costumes, not to mention a brooding, creepy atmosphere that holds strong from start to finish. I recommend taking a shower when you're done, too.

Now you have to move up to SN DN 2.

GARBAGE DAY!!!!
JoeTheDestroyer JoeTheDestroyer - May 20, 2017 (09:29 PM)
The most I've seen of that movie was the garbage day scene. I do want to watch it, bearing in mind that it's probably awful. The only other SNDN I've seen was the fifth one, which was basically a knockoff of Puppet Master and Demonic Toys. That..... has a very uncomfortable scene near the end involving a living mannequin and the protagonist.
