Looks more like BioShock with Aliens than X-COM.

Not impressed. But hey, now there's no doubt in anyone's mind that 2K is a one-trick pony.

I like how the pics they show after FIND THEM, STUDY THEM, and FIGHT THEM are all of the same thing: shooting black blobs.

Apparently finding them and studying them is closely related to shooting them lots.

What does this have to do with x-com? anything?

Nothing, I guess.

For those of you not in the know: X-COM (or UFO: Enemy Unknown) was set in 1999 and features big-headed grey aliens, snakemen, and traditional flying saucers in dogfights with fighter jets.

You'll note that the trailer above contains none of these things.
