Okay, image link fixed. I've been a student of transhumanism for quite some time now. As The Curve continues to steer our lives, it's become less and less surprising to see incredible technologies and new realities come into play. I'ive wanted a tattoo expressing that realization for a while and finally Deus Ex provided the proper design.

The H+ is the transhumanist symbol. Going to the third power means "beyond transhumanism..." beyond our imagination. Beyond human.

I'm liking it more and more, myself. I don't know quite how far I am... I just got to singapore (right after a scene where you meet Tracer Tong, well, at a distance, but a nice homage to Deus Ex fans. I knew he'd show up somewhere.)

I was kicked off tonight because the girlfriend started Heavy Rain. She's addicted. She's been playing for like 5 hours.

I like tech, and it's interesting to look at how it affects human behaviour. ..but I think that if I live to see the possibility to digitalise your thoughts down on a pad, and have a chip-interface keyed to your central nervous system, or something like that... then I'll still be carrying around a notebook(as in a pencil and a sheet of paper) and a laptop.

..not sure why I'm so attached to that. Something about "form" and "being", and if the utility you use shapes the way you think, not just how you complete a task.

..or maybe I just don't think very highly of our species in the first place :p ..seriously, though.. what sort of species goes around naming itself: homo sapiens.. "wise man".
