Infamous is totally worth some hacks taking all of my personal info. And it was definitely worth the other PSN users losing their info.
Just saying.

Suskie - June 26, 2011 (11:16 PM) You've only just now played Infamous? I don't even own a PS3 and I played Infamous, like, two years ago. |

JoeTheDestroyer - June 26, 2011 (11:23 PM) I'll 1-Up that. I own a PS3 and Infamous, and I still haven't played it. |

fleinn - June 27, 2011 (07:12 AM) ..probably one of the more unique and still successful platforming games ever made. And with what happened to I2, and the fact that Sucker Punch won't be making the next Sly game -- another similar game probably won't really be made again. So yeah.. worth playing it for free, all right.. |

zippdementia - June 27, 2011 (11:20 PM) I'm glad I waited to play it. Three reasons. Ready, go. One. Now that I've decided to stop picking up every game that comes out, or really ANY new games, I'm able to relax and enjoy the hell out of this game in a way I wouldn't have been able to two years ago. I'm taking my time. Sometimes I just run around and get into massive fights and see if I can win against a dozen enemies at once or using only melee attacks. It's the kind of fun I was talking about lacking in most of my current video game experiences. Two. Waiting has proven that the game has held up. Two years later and it plays like a new release. The ideas are still fresh and the execution superb. Three. It wasn't free two years ago. |

fleinn - June 28, 2011 (06:02 AM) :D ...I think my favourite is grinding a wire to a roof, jumping to gain some height, thunderdrop from the air, and then shockwaving the goons down on the street as they fall down from the thunderdrop clash. ..that, or if you're evil, electrifying the cars so they explode while throwing them down the streets. lol |

Suskie - June 28, 2011 (02:13 PM) I played my roommate's copy, so it was free for me :) I'd still shy away from calling Infamous "unique" or "fresh" or however you want to put it, but it is a great game. |

zippdementia - June 29, 2011 (10:10 PM) Yeah, I regretted typing "fresh" later. Especially since I often have these moments where I play where I think I'm Altair. Like, literally, every time I play this happens. But it is well executed. To the point where it feels unique. |

Suskie - June 30, 2011 (08:28 AM) Few sandbox games strike the balance that Infamous does, where completing the story missions and goofing off are just as engaging. Just Cause 2 and the latter two Assassin's Creed games are the only others in that category. |
