zippdementia - October 30, 2010 (03:30 PM) Well, honest gamers got my review of Blue Lacuna... which has been linked on Aaron Reed's site, I just noticed Gameroni gets the interview. If you're interested in Interactive Fiction or the application of video games to other fields, especially education, then please give it a read. I'd love to discuss it further with the folks here. |

zippdementia - October 30, 2010 (04:34 PM) It was a really interesting interview. I was really pleased that we got into issues of sexuality and racism. I could've spent an entire interview just discussing them. I think social issues like that are something that more video game developers need to be thinking about in a serious fashion. Aaron Reed has officially made me fall in love with Interactive Fiction. I think I've just discovered my thesis project. |

zigfried - October 30, 2010 (04:57 PM) My interactive fiction game will discuss sexuality and racism in a mature manner. There will be a scene where the main character can have sex with racists. //Zig |

fleinn - November 01, 2010 (03:13 AM) Have you never had an instinct to recoil away from something, based on just your first obvious impressions? Strange thing, but a lot of people don't really deal with their racism. So maybe the game could point out your own prejudice, or something like that? |

JoeTheDestroyer - November 01, 2010 (05:06 AM) Now, when we say racist, do we mean: A) The Archie Bunker lovable racist type, B) Edward Norton in American History X racist, or C) Like the skinheads from vigilante who appear to be equal opportunity employers (see level 2) |

"GO IN BAR" You can't go in bar. There is a black man standing outside the door. |
