I'm Issac
January 23, 2010

One of my side jobs is being a nude model for the art institutions around town. I happened to model last year for the guy who did the cover for Dead Space II.

I just found out he used my pose for the cover. So, yeah... that's me on the cover, more or less.

Have you got a credit in the manual? That'd be cool. Do you sign any release things when you model?

It's funny you mention this now, I am thinking about a similar issue here. I'm currently doing an illustration for the manual of my game, and I'd been thinking about how to credit the woman who modelled and photographed herself as the source.

Sadly, you are not obligated to credit the model. In this case, I was just modeling for a class he was teaching. I didn't know he was going to use the pose for a video game cover. It just sort've worked out that way.

I need to take someone to the shops, walk past the game and say 'I knew the cover guy back when he was nekkid.'
