It used to play on the radio quite a bit.
The lyrics I remember went something like:
I ain't got time
to get up again
you're never gonna get me down
Dancing the night away
Just dancing the night away..."
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Help a lost soul!

zippdementia - March 24, 2009 (02:16 PM) Ah wait, it's I get knocked down, but I get up again by tub thumping. Great song. |

honestgamer - March 24, 2009 (02:55 PM) People around here (HG) tend not to like that song, for some reason. Probably because it wasn't huge when they were in high school like it was for me. I love the song and have the CD. Really interesting stuff, and that's far from the only good song on the album! |

Halon - March 24, 2009 (03:22 PM) Tubthumping by Chumbawamba, an anarchist-punk bad. I don't like the song but they have written some good stuff. Too bad that's their only single that made the mainstream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm4iU0yx9GY |

zippdementia - March 24, 2009 (03:32 PM) It was on during my highschool years, too, and I've heard it every few months since. Finally picked it up off you tube. Yeah, it's a great song, IMO. |

darketernal - March 24, 2009 (04:20 PM) It was like, the theme song of the World Cup of 1998, so well known around these parts. |

Suskie - March 24, 2009 (04:36 PM) I like that song. Then again my taste in music wasn't fully developed in third grade. (Or whenever this was popular. Long time ago.) |
