Hello everyone.
So, perusing the HG logs, I see many of you post about music in your blogs! Specially Genj, who I added as a friend just to get his music updates.
Well, I am a Jazz lover myself, perhaps a rarity here... I'm not into not Kenny G, mind you, but more like "Miles in Montreux '73" Jazz. (an ultra-rare live performance where the master is booed off-stage, yet makes music I love)
At any rate, I'm listening right now to the song which I think is the most badass ever. It may not be the best ever, but it is unaparalleled in badass-ness, if you ask me.
This song is called "Champagne of Course", and is performed by Terje Rypdal, Bjørnar Andresen & Espen Rud in their 1970 album "Min Bul".
Yes, it is ultra-obscure... but damn is it badass! I'm sure Honestgamers is a fine place to search for brave souls who would dare to seek this song out, so that's why I have shared this tidibit of my life with you.

humorguy - January 27, 2011 (07:49 AM) Didn't know where else to leave a comment, but you review of Darklands surely must be the most intelligent, in-depth and greatest review of the game since it was released in 1992! I bought the game in 1992, loving everything Microprose released, and being a sucker for those 150 page manuals and huge maps, and I still have it on my current drive where I play it quite regularly! You might like to know, a team is being put together to do a total conversion of Oblivion using the editor, to make a game like Darklands! Just google "The Darklands" and you'll find their webpage! :) The guys running it are huge Darklands fans, and where heaving involved in the Yahoo group that has existed for over a decade! So they know what they are talking about! SO thanks again for a great review! |
