Anyone can give me a help with a blogging question?
November 15, 2007

Hello, people of HonestGamers!

This post has naught to do with gaming at all, it has to do with blogging!

Several times I have seen blog spots around the world (well, around the Internet actually) that showed at first a small tidbit of the original post first and then had a small link marked "read more" or similar that, when clicked upon, took the reader to the full post in all its glory.

I hope this description is fitting enough to paint the picture I am trying to paint. I hope I made clear what I am talking about.

Anyways, does anyone know if such a feature is possessed only by certain blogs, or if any blogger anywhere who masters the necessary code can make use of this feature?

I am not intending on writing huge blog posts for HG at the moment, but maybe in the future, I might. Right now, the only gigantic things I have been writing are some Video Game reviews that I feel got a bit out of hand with the wording.

Thanks!
Zanzard.

That's a feature of LiveJournal blogs, at the very least, but it doesn't exist on HonestGamers. That's the sort of thing that has to be coded in by the people that create the blog, not by the user who posts the blogs (if that makes any sense).

Ah, I see!

Well, that feature is not THAT good to make me want to sign up there.
But at least I'll stop scouring the Net trying to find a way to do that.

Thanks for the insight, Honestgamer!
