Zig had wanted me to put this togetger for a while now and I just kept forgetting. I also didn't have time. These will have to be done incrementally as I have A LOT of pictures... Some places may need to be combined, though, because I'm not putting everything on here... especially not the pictures that have me (or other people) in them. Though as far as pics with other people go, some of the ones may have random people off in the distance or something... but sometimes the pictures are just too good (for their scenery) to pass up.

Anyway, I believe I remember talking about the trip to the castle when I was blogging about the trip back in May / June, but it was still a great adventure that day. Well, until the food poisoning or whatever it was that made me miserable for a few days after. And this time you get to see pics!


Horses ftw!



This castle, from what I understood, is the only (or one of the only) completely round castles in Europe. This can be told from the circular courtyard (seen later) as well as the fact that once at the top, you can literally walk around 360 degrees and view the island from every direction.

The castle, once used to hold political prisoners, POWs and the like, is now a museum that houses artwork of many types.
