Which officially starts at noon for me tomorrow. Hurray for no more school!

But.. there is a downside.

I'm going home, which means I won't have ready internet access. So to those I talk to regularly but haven't told, I won't be on AIM at all over the summer, I doubt. It also means I won't be adding any new content except reviews over summer, too, probably.

Good news is I intend to write a lot of reviews - and I mean a lot. Felix's newest challenge would be enough normally, but... even if I do match that, I'll still have two whole months. So I'm expecting to get a lot done.

I'll still be around here, just not as much. Might even blog if I feel like it. So... to everyone on this site, I say... I'll miss you all. Every last one of you. <3

I'll be more active again come fall!

....Not. I really don't like alcohol.

If I'm drunk on anything, it's sugar. Our dorm had this "mocktail" party where they made fake drinks like pina colata out of juice, milk and ice cream. It was pretty tasty. I only had two, though. Didn't feel like staying long.

My favorite was the pina colata. The other one I had was this thing called a Summer Rain, which was like grapefruit juice and sherbert ice cream or something. It was OK.

No, Felix - they didn't have any fake Harp and Guiness mixtures.

Haha. I had toyed with the idea of pretending to be drunk, but... changed my mind because it was stupid.

Because of your excitement for the series, I decided to review Animorphs for the Gameboy Color. I regret to inform you that while the series is great, this game... not so much. I'm hoping the games on the other consoles are much better.

This is also one of 3 reviews I had written over spring break. It's completely rewritten from the original draft. I'm hoping it's much better than the original draft, too. I sure felt it was; otherwise I wouldn't have been so bold and released it without editing.

OK. Felix was nice enough to recommend a few easy NES ROMs to download so I could write a review for this tourney. They included Bubble Bobble, Parasol Stars, and Rainbow Islands. I've been leading towards RI.

However, searching the 'net for this game, I discovered something...

That there are two "versions" of the game. There's an old version and a new version, the new one being at least 400kb more. I'm not sure which one to download because I don't know what the difference between the two is. And if there's a huge difference, that could determine how I rate the game.

Any suggestions?

Also, feel free to recommend more ROMs - I might want to check more out later after this thing.

I am uncharacteristically happy today. I think it's a combination of things.

For starters, it's a really, really nice day out, which always makes me feel good. I hate winter because it's all depressing and cold... and stuff. I can't wait for spring and summer...

It could also be that I only got three hours of sleep last night, thus making me super hyper-giddy. >.>

Or it could be that my placement in the tourney is hitting me for real or something. That sort of thing tends to get obscured when it's late and you're tired... Suffice to say, I am extremely satisfied right now. It's good to know that I'm not a failure or hopeless cause and that I actually can achieve something decent. Being stuck on the bottom all the time really gets depressing after a while.
