...is kinda hack-'n'-slashy, but I like it for some reason. Leveling up weapons gets boring after awhile (there are sixtysome possible) and the game-controlled camera needs to be taken out behind the woodshed. 'Sides that, it's sorta fun. I mean, who doesn't want to blow up some wussgoblins with dragonfire?

EmP - June 04, 2007 (03:17 PM) I love Drakengard, me. That's why I reviewed it and gave it a 9. |

shotgunnova - June 05, 2007 (04:55 AM) I bought it because I remember liking it when I rented it a few years back, but man, it gets very monotonous after awhile. There are a bunch of weapons that fall by the wayside, and I end up using one or two anyway. |

Genj - June 05, 2007 (09:27 PM) Really it's more fun getting the weapons than using them. You might as well just use a FAQ and see which are the "omg!! awesome!!" ones and ignore the rest. Also I gave Drakengard an 8. An fun 3D brawler (not on par with Dynasty Warriors 3) with some interesting ideas and a good game world, plot, and characters. I picked up a copy of the second game back in May for $15 but still haven't started it yet. Perhaps I will when I 100% Kingdom Hearts II. |
