PSA: Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward demo available now on the PSN Store
Good People Die was a much better title, though.
With all that's happening on the PSN Store right now, one little demo threatens to be lost amongst the HD remasters and day 1 digital versions of retail game releases. Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward's demo is now available to those who want a taste of the upcoming visual novel adventure game.
As a sequel to 999: 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors, Virtue's Last Reward plays basically the same way. The demo is broken into two parts: the Novel phase and the Escape phase. The novel phase is all about story, with mostly-voiced characters interacting with each other and driving the plot forward. (Curiously, your lead character only speaks with on-screen text.) In the escape phase, you must solve various puzzles, which often lead to more puzzles, which eventually lead to an item or password necessary to unlock a door and escape whatever area you're on. (That sounds like more than zero escaping, guys.)
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward launches on PS Vita and 3DS October 23rd.

Rhody likes to press the keys on his keyboard. Sometimes the resulting letters form strings of words that kind of make sense when you think about them for a moment. Most times they're just random gibberish that should be ignored. Ball-peen wobble glurk. |
