About Me: Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma. |
I hope you're all enjoying yourselves today. I'm having a good Christmas so far.
I got GrimGrimoire, Soul Nomad & the World Eaters, and a PS2 memory card. Plus a DVD tower to store my games. I also got a new set of headphones because my old ones are busted.
I also got a $50 bill that probably won't last me very long. :)
I finally beat Persona 3. I probably should have done it earlier, before I overleveled all my characters.
Oh well. It's still a great game, even if I ruined the difficulty of the final battle.
I logged 142 hours and 34 minutes of play time. The main character was at level 97. I believe the other characters were at level 90, except for Akihiko, who was at level 87.
Due to the recent situation, many of us have been faced with a choice. Where will we all go? I've thought this over for some time and I've come to a decision.
I'm going elsewhere. But I'm also staying. I'm still going to use GameSpot, but not exclusively. In addition to to GameSpot you should also be able to find me at NeoGAF, 1UP, Gamer 2.0, GameRevolution, HonestGamers, The Virtual Underground.net, or any other site that I decide to register for.
This whole situation has left me confused. I don't know what's going on. I won't pretend to know what's going on. But it's clear that it was horribly managed by CNET. I'm not going to scream about how CNET sucks or GameSpot has no integrity. I already did that. But I shouldn't have since I didn't know the facts.
On October 31st, my Persona 3 Official Strategy Guide arrived. Awesome. Would have been more useful if I had received it a bit earlier though. Oh well.
I went shopping yesterday. I made some small purchases yesterday. And when I say small, I'm lying.
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (DS) (used)
Gunstar Super Heroes (GBA) (new)
Namco Museum (GBA) (new)
Pac-Man Collection (GBA) (new)

Update time!
I'm still playing Persona 3. I've logged 96 hours in the game so far. That's way longer than I'd play most games, so I think that says a lot about how much I like it. I'm in November, so I think I'm getting closer to the end of the game.
Also played some Fire Emblem for a bit. Not as long as I would have liked, due to Persona 3 taking over my life. Also tried getting back into Tales of Phantasia. I caught onto the battle mechanics quickly, but I have no idea where to go or what to do any more. Bah.
Local EB Games store got their shipment of Guitar Hero III. The PS3 box weighs less than the Xbox 360 and Wii box. It's not really a big deal, but I did notice it. Kind of easy to see when it's written on the side of the shipping box.
In case you haven't heard, I have given up on Xenosaga and decided to get started with Persona 3. Great game so far. I'm up to July 6, trying to complete some of Elizabeth's requests that expire today. My academics are already at level 5, so I don't need to worry about studying for the upcoming exam.
Did some shopping lately. Here's what I picked up yesterday:
Musashi: Samurai Legend (PS2) - new - $8.88
Tom Clancy's Raibow Six 3 (GameCube) -
Nokia thinks it's a good idea to try to get into video games again. They're wrong again.
My comment on the news article was quoted on the GameSpot UK podcast, netting me a sweet emblem for my profile. I suggest listening to the show if you don't already. It's only recorded fortnightly, so don't expect a new episode every week.
I went out and bought Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. I hear it's awesome. I'm not going to play it right away because I want to get finished
