Kenji Matsubara, Tecmo Koei Holdings honcho, expects big things of recently announced multi-platform title Hokuto Musou. The game is based on post-apocalyptic martial arts manga Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken).

"Only in Japan, the game should sell a million copies," Matsubara told the Nihon Keisai Newspaper. According to the paper, the game is expected to launch worldwide, given the international familiarity with Fist of the North Star.

oh man that would be awesome to have a new and proper Fist of the North Star game released in the US. i hope they can find a voice actor who can do Kenshiro's A-TA-TA-TA justice like the guy who dubbed Ken's voice in the animated movie.

Seems good. Maybe would be better if it had Godhand's perspective but still. Only the original voice can be heard for Kenshiro's attacks. Though to be sincere, I only watched the subbed version anyway.

I'll definitely be buying. The "warriors" gameplay style totally fits FotNS.

I'm more pumped for this game, than for pretty much anything else in the forever.
