Video games have become a life-long obssession of mine. For nearly 25 years I've played thousands of games on dozens of systems, spent innumerable hours completing them(who keeps track when you are having fun?), and learning the culture and history behind them. Out of those 25 years of video game knowledge who hasn't heard about the Nintendo World Championships? I had the chance to experience the game on a replica NWC cart in a competition at a Classic Gaming Expo several years back. Rustiness aside as the picture below prove, I had a blast!
Recently I have taken the art form of video game collecting more seriously. It is a small yet growing collection. What better way to increase the profile of someone's budding game library by having THE most historic piece of gaming sitting on their shelf. If I were to win, it would be like winning the Golden Ticket. I would be very lucky indeed.
