ok...so i have had SMT:Nocturne for over a year

and i still haven't beaten it yet. i've been playing my quest on and off..but after 50+ hours i'm finally at the Tower of Kagatsuchi. i laid Ahriman easily to waste, that fight was silly. i'm at the section now with the appearing platforms that disappear after you walk through them. the annoying thing is it can take you to a confined area and as a result there's no way out because there are no more visible platforms to walk through so you have to reload a save file. ack.

anyways, i've got all the candelabra, completed the Labyrinth of Amala, became blessed as a true demon instead of demi-fiend. My main party is Dante, Pixie, and Sparna or Titania. is there anything i should be aware of? do i still have a long ways to go? are there much harder bosses than Ahriman?

Like you, I completed the Labyrinth of Amala. When I got to the final battle, I beat that boss pretty easily. However, there's another boss after him, as a reward for completing the Labyrinth. That other boss fights you immediately after you defeat the other one and he is cheap. So your reward for completing the Labyrinth is that now you'll have a much harder time beating the game. Whatever you do, make sure that you learn and use the most powerful skills. I climbed the tower without gaining them first. Big mistake.

Did you do that short optional dungeon where you get the Maskados magatama (I think this is what it's called). Can't remember the specifics but I think it gives like +10 to all stats and has a shit load of immunities.

I don't think that I got the last two of the Magatama. Basically, my lead character is immune to almost anything the final boss throws at him but two attacks and those are attacks that can brutalize a whole party like nobody's business.

i've encountered Maskados' grave near the obelisk...but that's the only time his name appeared. i don't know anything about how to get his magatama.

and i'm not too worried about taking so long to beat it..savoring the experience little by little. i'm just excited that i'm nearing the end! you should get started on Nocturne Emp!
