persona 4 in less than one week!!
December 03, 2008

anyways, i've already beaten Persona 3 and after playing it on and off for about a year, i'm trying to finish Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne...i love the pacing of this game. it just plays fast. i'm about 36 hrs into it and i'm at the Tower of Amala. i've gone through two of the thrree temples, halted that and went back to Labyrinth of Amala to go further into the 3rd kalpa and i'm getting chased by Dante, wooo! i'm at lvl. 58. i think i like this game better than Persona 3 because it doesn't drag as much.

Nocturne is indeed awesome and it gets a lot harder than Persona 3 near the end... well until you hit the upper 90 levels and start fusing ridiculous demons. I'm hoping to finish Digital Devil Saga 1 before I hopefully get Persona 4 on Christmas, but with finals coming up it looks like I may only have a week to accomplish such a feat.

i find the challenge of Nocturne to be on par with Persona 3 so far and also not as cheap. half the time that i died in persona 3 was from my main character being killed by a mudo spell from an ordinary foe and not having the right persona equipped when i least expect it but i don't have to worry about it here because i learned the anti-death ability. those death spell kills and the dim-witted NPC battle AI pissed me off but i'm glad to hear Persona 4 will let players control team members this time!! and i will agree that the bosses are a lot tougher and exciting in Nocturne

i also have digital devil saga, but who knows when i'll have time to play that.

-edit-
oh, also did you know about a Shin Megami Tensei MMO on PC? i know my computer doesn't have the specs to play it but i downloaded the beta anyway. i tried it and as expected, it didn't work :(
