so i looked at each game in my library for the PS3 and Wii. then i guessed how many hours i spent on each game and checked the time log on my wii.
well, i've racked up over 400 hours of Wii usage and over 300 hours of PS3 usage.
out of the 400 Wii hours, 300 was spent playing Wii games, 50 on the Virtual Console and the other 50 spent on the Mii, Photo and other dumb channels and playing GameCube games.
out of the 300 PS3 hours, almost 200 was spent on PS3 games, almost 100 hours was spent playing PS2 games on the PS3, and whatever hours were left were spent on viewing video clips, web browsing, folding@home etc.
PS3 offerings are still kinda pathetic and the Wii has more good games to play right now thus i spent nearly twice the many hours playing wii games than ps3 games so the wii is still kicking ass in actual content for the system. as far as usage, the wii has a comfortable but not huge lead. with GTAIV and MGS4 coming out and some other games coming later this fall for the PS3, the PS3 will have no problem getting much more usage from me. usage sometimes doesn't necessarily equate to better.
