well i decided to get that samsung tv in 19". my fear was the game visuals would look too small that i couldn't see it, but it looks suitable.

Wii games look a little bit better on widescreen but the tradeoff is that it's little more blurry in motion than on a standard TV. do i want to get component cables or not? hmm...nah.

PS3 games look awesome on widescreen and using the HDMI cables help. there is a difference with 480i and 720p/1080i. Motorstorm looks way better. there are some visual details that were overlooked. now i could see what the billboards say and the sparks are more noticeable.

so far i'm liking my set and it's cleared up so much space on top of my TV stand. now i can put more shit up there like my controllers and stuff. i just need to get used to the haloish haze on the sides of the screen...do LCD's usually look like that? it's noticeable when the background is black. other than that, it looks great.

	carcinogen_crush - May 16, 2007 (12:24 PM) The glow could be something to do with the thing's grey level; the 19 WS I use for the 360 has a slight aura on the very top and bottom of the screen that's obviously not caused by glare. I've never been sure if it's something to worry about or not. Glad you like the set though, and because of the higher resolutions you can sit closer! Hooray. Of all things, on a sick stomach a Costco hotdog makes me feel better.

I want one very badly, but it will have to wait. Maybe by the time I save up $1500, that'll be enough to buy a set? Prices on such things do drop at an incredible rate.
