I've been out of the reviewing scene for two weeks. Two WEEKS! Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but I like at least doing one review a week to keep my skills sharp. But between school, work, visiting relatives, computer problems, lack of motivation and other stuff, I haven't reviewed anything at all.
That changed yesterday, though. There's a whopping 2006-word piece on Shadow of the Colossus on Gamefaqs right now, and it should to be posted here soon enough. It's my biggest yet, but both the subject matter and the minimum word count requirements kinda called for it. I might even use it for Round 3 of The Great War Tourney, but there are dozens of other reviews to choose from...*Starts contemplating*
And GRRR @ the first round scoring. I'm not complaining about my score at all; coming in third place is definitely something to be happy about. What I'm more worried about are the reviewers on Team Gamefaqs that have gone AWOL. If everyone had shown up, we could have ripped Team Gamespot to shreds and given HG a much better run for their money. With this round, some of my comrades are nowhere to be found. This doesn't bode well at all...=/
But enough lamenting. I've got to think positive, dammit! It's my birthday in two days! Isn't that great, guys?!
