My friend's computer is a piece of fucking shit. Really, who thinks, "We need computers for the family, what should we get? *gasp* DELL! GENIUS!"
You know who? Parents. If the media would like some proof of "bad parenting" leading to bad things happening, here's exhibit number one, friends.
Buying a Dell amounts to sliding your man-rod into a gator's mouth and then going, "THANK YOU MR. GATOR. THANK YOU FOR RIPPING OFF MY DRESSING PUMP!"
I swear. Seriously.
This bullshit computer won't read the damned floppy that my review for this week's round is on. I don't get it, because it worked fine yesterday. Today it's "unable to read". Bullshit. Bullshit.
So now I have to wait until like 3 in the afternoon to get finished. Lame. Lame. Lame.
Bored as hell sitting here doing nothing, keeping an eye on this autistic kid.
. . . Damn. How do I pass the time?
I'm going insane.

Genj - August 22, 2007 (01:12 PM) Pass the time by imagining how bored I am passing the time until I get to move back to school on the third. |

Genj - August 22, 2007 (01:20 PM) Nah, I'm just getting tired of being in the suburbs. Plus I don't really have the time to start any of the unplayed RPGs I have, so I'm merely replaying FF12 until I leave. Also, my mom is a very loud woman. Besides, I'll be having my own single with my own bathroom. Sweet! |

carcinogen_crush - August 22, 2007 (01:45 PM) How in the hell'd you manage that one? Not bad. You been playing 12 for a while? |

EmP - August 22, 2007 (01:46 PM) Wouldn't you want to replay something, you know, fun? EDIT: Yes, fine, I hate everything. |

Halon - August 22, 2007 (02:19 PM) Although I prefer to build my own, Dell makes solid computers overall. However their tech support isn't the greatest, since you're often being "helped" by someone who barely speaks english. |

honestgamer - August 22, 2007 (02:56 PM) Yeah, Dell's computers aren't bad for the price. They're even... good. But it's like Sportsman said. The service is horrible, both because of the language barrier and the fact that you're talking to someone halfway around the world and the phone call is muffled. If you spend a lot and buy a premium Dell machine, you get to talk to someone in the US (they opened up a special plant), but at that point you really should just build your own. By the way, customer service almost always goes overseas. It's just life. Most other big companies are the same way. That could change, though, as people boycott those companies. A lot of people are willing to pay a little more to keep the jobs in the US and to keep the person on the other end of the phone someone who speaks English and Spanish. |

carcinogen_crush - August 22, 2007 (06:01 PM) I'd like to make a computer out of twigs and cardboard. Then plug it right into a tree. |

Halon - August 22, 2007 (07:31 PM) Dell isn't perfect and as I said earlier I would much rather build my own, but I would take a Dell over one by any other PC manufacturer. They make decent PCs for decent prices, which is fine for most people. |
