Ya piece of shit! Damned Oregon shit summer weather, balls! Screw this - garrrrrr! It's so humidddddddd I hate this shit.
And when it comes to accomplishing the task of completing the second half of my The Darkness review, it's all the worse. I need inspiration. . .
I'll get some Chinese food.
On a different note (about The Darkness), I heard that the song in the closing credits is done by Tomahawk, one of Mike Patton's (VA for The Darkness) projects.
Interestingly enough, I picked up the newest Tomahawk CD a week or so ago, never having heard the stuff before.
I dunno. . . I'm Native American and all, but Anonymous sounds mostly like a piece of instrumental bullshit with some odd chanting. Maybe it'll take a few more listens? I dunno.
My question for anyone who's familiar with Tomahawk: What the dick?

Halon - July 11, 2007 (11:43 AM) Everything by Mike Patton is unusual minus Faith No More. Check out Disco Volante by Mr. Bungle, some of the strangest music I've ever heard. But that's what I like so much about him, he doesn't play by the rules and although I don't like every one of his projects, I appreciate everything he does. Anonymous was pretty disappointing; it's a bit different from their past stuff. Some of the Native American chanting stuff was cool but it's not even close to as good as Mit Gas or self-titled (which were both closer to experimental/doom metal than Anonymous). |

Genj - July 11, 2007 (01:01 PM) Mike Patton is one of those experimental musicians that you listen to and say, "Actually this kinda sucks." I was very much not impressed by Disco Valente, and this is coming from someone that has and liked two Wolf Eyes albums. |

Genj - July 11, 2007 (05:31 PM) I don't like Guitar Wolf or Wolfmother either. Wolf Parade is ok, but Wolf Eyes is still the king of wolf bands. |
