The new Sonic Movie trailer hit the internet today

Seems Paramount wised up and revamped Sonic for the better. He looks a lot more easy on the eyes than that horrible thing they went with the first time around. It also seems they added more stuff by the looks of it, such as Green Hill Zone during Sonic's narration about why he came to "the real world." Seeing Jim Carrey getting punch is a big plus as well.

The downside? Its still not decided if the movie will be any good by any means, and I don't quite agree on some instances like WHY Sonic has to come to the real world in the least and not having all the events taking place in his own place. Green Hill Zone looks amazing by itself and it is a shame that we would have to watch the majority of the movie in bland territory overall. Sonic mentions that "people" tried to take a way his power, having as reason why he is over but if this is the case then I see no point as to why Dr. Robotnik would be in the real world overall then. There is a lot of questions still and the trailer has risen new ones that better answer when the movie is released.

Makes it feel like Sonic is taking Lucky's job from that Lucky Charms commercial really.

Overall it does make me want to watch the movie. So I guess their job is done here for now.

I'm glad it opens on Valentine's Day, so that if I plan far enough ahead, I can take my wife to the theater for what is sure to be a romantic movie date. Then we can go out for onion rings at Arctic Circle. Or maybe we should do that ahead of time, because they might be closed when the movie lets out. Anyway, I do think the revised movie looks like an improvement now that it features a Sonic the Hedgehog that actually looks like, well, Sonic!

Wow! They've come a long way. This actually doesn't look so terrible now. Some parts even looked to be... funny!
