 | 4 times the charm |
Got a good deal on Amazon and pawn shops this December/January. The Simpsons Hit 'N' Run and Road Rage are very entertaining titles featuring voices from the original cast and the insanity from the ongoing animated series, with Road Rage emulating SEGA's Crazy Taxi and Hit 'N' Run doing the same but with the likes of Grand Theft Auto in the most hilarious of ways. I will be getting The Game when I can but will stay away from their skating title as I heard it plays poorly.
X-Men legends was the first game on PS2 that featured a team of 4 characters you controlled to embark on missions and duke it out with the likes of Magneto and his Brotherhood. I already had its Sequel Mutant Apocalypse and both Marvel Superheroes Ultimate Alliance games so it was a no brainer on acquiring this one that started it all.
Scaler is a curious title that may had been overlook when it came out. I only heard of it from someone when it came out and saw some games in the shelf at an electronics store I used to work at. I had bought it being it wasn't that expensive and tested it out, finding it is a nice platformer with a curious character, even though he can't crawl on walls he can use his tongue to attack enemies in an otherwise colorful alien environment.
I was also trying to get Ridge Racer V but Amazon messed up on that one. The people who sold it never bothered to send it so I asked for a prompt refund. Hopefully I might get it another time.
