The first Anime installment about the popular gaming series

By now some may had already known about this Anime which was distributed in the US in the late 90s, along with others like Advent Children and Unlimited (or not, the latter was barely ever mentioned just as this one.) Legend of the Crystals is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy V set 200 years after the game's events took place. You do not find many familiar faces here save for some names and characters that are related to the original heroes of the game. The Anime was a 4-part OAV series which was distributed on VHS and so far none of it on DVD. However you may be able to watch on the likes of youtube and dubbed as well. The Anime is notorious for its weirdness and absurd fanservice it tosses about every now and then, but is still entertaining enough to watch.
