Gaming schedule and reviews
August 30, 2010

I've put aside the back-burner reviews for a time. These included Dragon Age, Alpha Protocol, and Starcraft II (though I still may pop out a SC2 review this weekend), and (oddly enough) Pokemon Pearl.

One reason for this is that there are actually some upcoming games that I want to spend some decent time on and I'm lucky enough that one of them (Metroid Other M) is coming in a couple days, coinciding with a six day holiday for me. Aside from trying to set up a rendezvous with a girl friend of mine, I should have plenty of time to enjoy the new Metroid and get a review out.

The other one is Birth by Sleep, which I've heard is great. I missed the DS Kingdom Hearts game out of a combined lack of funds and interest in the character of Roxas (more funds, though) but while I'm concerned about the lack of FF in the new Kingdom Hearts (Zack Fair and the Moogles are the only references to FF) I hear it's great and the battle system looks very cool.

That comes out on Sept. 10th or 7th (or something) so if HG doesn't do me the favor of sending it my way, I will dole out the money for it. It's a PSP game, which means it travels to the Nuclear Site with me and I can find time to play it.

I have this huge nostalgic factor going on with Kingdom Hearts games. I was replaying KH2 about a year ago, but I couldn't make it all the way through before Arkham Asylum came out.

Anyway, I'm hoping to begin my time at the new review site with a Metroid review. We'll see how that works out.

not a girlfriend... a "girl" who is a friend. Big difference. If it was my girlfriend, I wouldn't need as much luck. I could go straight to the backrubs.

From backrubs, it's always easy.
