Conkers Bad Fur Day stands as one of the must haves for the Nintendo 64. But if you are willing to look past the ''M'' ratings, this is definitely one of the strongest games for the Nintendo 64.

STORY (10/10): For a platformer this story is sound. There is cheap sex inuendo and that fits the character Conker plays. But does anyone here not love the scene in which you storm the beach just like Saving Private Ryan. Or how bout the Matrix actions, or the godfather. They take the ideas from other movies, and use them in Conker and that what makes this story so great.

GRAPHICS (18/20): All the things you run into look original, and the bosses along the way, although funny and some of them distorted in various (grotesque) ways, they do what they are supposed to. You have drunk scarecrows and horny bees. All of them look the part well. And how many sunflowers do you know with breasts like that. Conkers graphics definitely make a good laugh.

SOUND (9/10): The music in Conker is fairly good, but that is not what stands out in my mind. The voice acting is perfect. Each character has their own voice and it fits the part well. Who else was amazed when they first put in Conker and heard Conkers speech. That was a great time for me.

GAMEPLAY (44/45): The one player mode is a ball. You run along through various sceneries and doing almost something different in each level. This isn't a run around shooter like I expected. Some places you have to outwit your opponents, like the bull or in others you just have to storm through against a Teddy Bear army with your two guns at your side. What about the flips you do with your weapons out, and the snazzy cutscenes. And what about all the friends you meet along the way. Sure, Conker may hate them all, but they are pleasent and give depth to the gameplay. The controls are smooth and the Context Sensitive ''B'' is a good addition to the controls. It is a more of exploring type game, but the puzzles will not keep you stuck at all. This game is addictive and extremely fun, and therefor has a strong gameplay.

REPLAYABILITY (8/10): I have friends how come over and look past all the new games and turn to the old Nintendo 64 upstairs, and Conkers Bad Fur Day. The beach is one of the most classic verse modes, and everyone still plays it. However as one player this is not as addictive to replay. I have only played it through twice (at least to the boss) and i don't have a desire to play it again for awhile.

DIFFICULTY (4/5): The difficulty throughout the game is fair, and it will not hurt you at all. Once you get used to various parts, you will be able to struggle your way through. And then there is the final boss. What is with modern games and the unbeatable final boss. Whoever came up with this new theory, I'd like to shoot in the head.

OVERALL (93/100): Conker is the 6th on my list of must have N64 titles, and it deserves to be. I really didn't have that high of expectations for Conker, but I heard it was a good game so I picked it up. I will never regret that decision. I was 15 at the time, and well I was mature enough to handle the stuff, and understand it too. If you are one to watch your children constantly, this is not a good game to get. But if your child is the normal American teenanger there is nothing new in this game, and it is definitely a needed pickup.
