The Zelda series is definitely the best puzzle-type game for the action/rpg genre. And Ocarina of time is by far the high point for the Zelda history. I love this game unlike any of the others, and this is the game that really put Zelda on my map. There was so much to this game, and all of it was great. Besides Ogre Battle 64, and possibly Castlevania, Ocarina of Time was the best game to ever appear on the Nintendo 64.

STORY (12/15): You are a young fairy-boy, who lives in a forest. A great tree tells you, you have to do a great mission. Along the way you will meet a princess, a soul-brother, a wife-to-be (maybe), and a vanishing impa named Sheik (best character on the Nintendo 64). This cast has an intricate storyline weaved around it that brings in the subject of time, the evilness of Ganondorf, and of course the Master Sword. The story may start off corny, and the ending may be a little screwed up, but the story is still as good as a Zelda game will ever get.

GRAPHICS (14/15): These are some of the prettiest scenery on the Nintendo 64 and better then a good deal of next generation games. It's looks better than Majora's mask, which needed to use the expansion pack, and each weapon has it's own shine and character his own style. The scenery is beautiful and this game is stunning, with little to no slowdown time.

SOUND (12/10): This is BY FAR the greatest music in videogame history!!! The background music when Sheik appears is sweet and sensible, like Sheik is to be. I spent times playing the forest song on the ocarina just to hear that music. This is how the whole game goes, with great music that will NEVER be matched. I love this soundtrack of music and it is by far the best, therefor it will get above and beyond points.

GAMEPLAY (43/45): Each ''C'' button has it's own option to put the weapon of choice up. The ''B'' will use the sword, and the ''A'' will do a whole variety of things. This system is a great system of controls to do things easily. Now to the actual gameplay, every weapon has it's job, and each job is entertaining to perform. There are puzzle galore to solve, all different from earlier ones (actually that might not be true, but still there is alot). There are many badguys to fight, with weaknesses you must take advantage of, and there are dozens of subquests to perform and games in-which to make you the ultimate prepared swordsmen. There is not much weakness to Ocarina of Times gameplay, for the inventory is vast, and each weapon gives it's own entertainment.

REPLAYABILITY (9/10): This is a long game, longer still if you go without a guide. There are many puzzles, and dungeons to trek through. You can upgrade many times with each weapon. There are sidequests, like the one to get Biggorons Sword (also a cool thing). And once you beat it, why not do it all over again. The only reason this isn't a 10, is it is not as great to do it a second time as it first was, but it is great nonetheless.

DIFFICULTY (5/5): This game is hard, with puzzles no sane person could answer without difficulty. However I will admit I am one of those wimps that get the strategy guide. With the strategy guide this game is not as bad, and is definitely still challenging. This game is hard, but not too hard that you will stop playing it.

OVERALL (95/100): Zelda is one of the greatest series ever to hit any system, and Ocarina of Time is the peak game of the series. Sure, this game does have its weaknesses, that is why it is not 100. But the sound in itself makes this game great, and the gameplay does not hurt either. If you do not own this game already, then you have missed out on alot. This game will not likely ever be outperformed, at least not in the Zelda series. This game is definitely great, and is a must-have for every gamer!
